Capital One is a well-known bank that specializes in the provision of credit cards, loans for cars and homes, savings and banking services. With their United States headquarters in Virginia, Capital One also has an HQ in the UK, in Nottingham. The UK operation is a subsidiary of the American arm of the company, which was established in 1995 and called Capital One Financial Corporation. Credit Card Applications

Anyone applying for a Capital One card must be resident within the country and must be age 18 or older. Different cards have varying criteria to ensure its suitability for different types of applicants. All applicants must supply relevant details, including their home addresses over the last 6 years, their employment status, and how long they have used their current bank. Bill Payments

If you wish to make a payment using direct debit, you will need to complete an online Direct Debit Mandate. This instructs your bank to make the regular payment on your behalf. It can be set up easily and quickly simply by logging into your account and then selecting – Pay Bill. You will then need to select the option to set up or change a direct debit. Should you wish to use a debit card to make a payment you should still log into your online account and choose the bill payment option. You will then need to input your debit card details, including card number, expiry date, and the security code from the reverse of the card as well as the payment sum that you wish to make. Payment Protection Insurance

Payment Protection Insurance is a policy which is designed to protect payments to Capital One in the event of you becoming ill, having an accident, dying, or losing your job. AXA insurance underwrites all of Capital One’s PPI insurance policies for those who have coverage.
